Interest Rate Policy

In compliance with the Reserve Bank of India's guidelines, Parika Investments Private Limited has adopted an internal Interest Rate Policy for determining the rate of interest, processing and other charges on the loans it extends. The policy is guided by the principles of transparency, fairness and reasonableness.

Basis of determining interest rates

• Cost of funds — the borrowing cost of the Company.
• Risk profile — the credit and default risk of the borrower and the product.
• Tenure & nature — the tenure of the loan and whether it is secured or unsecured.
• Operating cost — administrative and operating expenses.
• Market conditions — prevailing market rates and competitive factors.

The rate of interest is annualised so that the borrower is aware of the exact rate that would be charged. The interest rate and the approach for gradation of risk are communicated to the borrower in the sanction letter / loan agreement, and are also made available on request. Interest rates are subject to change and any change is applied prospectively.

KYC & Anti-Money Laundering Policy

The Company has adopted a Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policy in line with the RBI's Master Direction on KYC and the Prevention of Money-Laundering Act, 2002.

• Customer identity and address are verified using officially valid documents before establishing a relationship.
• The Company undertakes ongoing due diligence and monitoring of transactions to identify and report suspicious activity as required by law.
• Customer information is used strictly for the purposes for which it is collected and is kept confidential.
